"I was hooked with the idea and soon began my journey to fitness with professional instructors"
As a full-time wheelchair user, I find it very difficult to keep fit. Accessing open spaces isn't easy and equipment in most Gym facilities is non-existent for wheelchair users.
And all this was happening long before lockdown.
However, one evening a few weeks ago I was watching the local news and the words Sit To Be Fit rang in my ears.
I listened more and took some details and contacted Tara who has this most amazing initiative of bringing exercise into our living rooms via Zoom. I was hooked with the idea and soon began my journey to fitness with professional instructors. A first for me was Yoga, I never thought I could do this activity from my wheelchair. We've more recently moved onto cardiovascular exercise using equipment from within the home.
These weekly sessions have opened up a new world to me - not to mention the new friendships that are starting to emerge.
I am sure this is only the start of things to come and I can't wait to see Tailored Leisure unfold.
Best of luck Tara.
